If you have a student interested in auditioning for the Kiwanis Art & Talent Showcase, please read the rules in full and complete the required forms. Forms will need to be signed by a parent (if student is under 18). Send any questions to [email protected]

All art will be on display at the Art & Talent Showcase, Friday March 21, 2025.
Please come by to pick up your art. Winners will be announced and called on stage.

Dates, Location & Admission Info

• Art Submissions DUE: March 10, 2025 by 10am (turn into school office)
• Talent Showcase: March 21, 2025 – 7pm

Location: WWES Auditorium (Cafeteria), 109 East St, Washington GA 30673

Admission: Adults $5 – Students $3 – No Entry Fee for Contestants

• Division One: Grades K-2
• Division Two: Grades 3-5
• Division Three: Grades 6-8
• Division Four: Grades 9-12

Rules

• Each art entry shall be the original work of the contestant submitting the item and may not be copied from a photograph. (A painting copied from a photograph is permissible only if the contestant is the photographer).
• Art may be in any 2 or 3 dimensional form such as painting or drawing
• Art may be executed in any media such as pencil, oil, acrylic, watercolor, etc
• Please DO NOT submit framed art. Art may be matted.
• Artwork should not exceed 11″ x 14″
• Art MAY NOT suggest drugs, violence, and/or sex.
• DO NOT sign artwork on front – attach entry form to back for identification (see form below)
• Student must be enrolled in school (public, private or home) Grades K through 12 and reside in Wilkes County.
• Only 1 entry per person
• Art can be turned into your school’s office

• Application for Art Submission (print & attach to back of artwork AND send a copy to [email protected])
• Affirmation, Reliability & Photo Release Form (required)
