The Kiwanis Club of Washington Georgia was founded on September 29, 1920 and exists to serve the children of the world. See our website below for more information about our club!
Roxanne Cobb, Founder and CEO of 4E Youth Organization, delivered an inspiring presentation at today's meeting. Established in 2019, 4E seeks to break cycles of poverty and violence through innovative initiatives providing youth with essential skills, guidance, and mentorship. As a 501c3 non-profit, 4E currently serves 27 local children aged 7-17, relying entirely on community donations.
The Kiwanis Club meets most Tuesdays from 1-2 here in Washington. If you’d like to attend as either a guest or speaker, please reach out to us via Facebook messenger or email: [email protected]
It was a profound privilege to share an evening with our community's bravest at our inaugural Veterans Appreciation Event, celebrating the selfless dedication of those who serve. Special thanks to VFW Post 5899 for providing their hall, Miller's Bistro for exquisite hors d'oeuvres, Washington-Wilkes Elementary School students for heartfelt letters, and Col. Andy Anderson's inspiring words. Tonight, we served 55 community members, including 26 courageous veterans. We eagerly anticipate next year's gathering!

Today’s meal was a big hit, serving Southern Smoke Shack BBQ LLC’s bbq pulled pork and coleslaw.
